It's posting day for the Creative Crew. What exactly is the Creative Crew? We are a group of 7 card-making friends from various US locations who have a fun monthly creative adventure with a secretive twist.
One of the group's members hosts each month. As host, she chooses a theme and then sends each of the group members a theme-appropriate image and some designer paper. The host can also include a sentiment and/or special item if she chooses to do so. The group members all receive the same items, but there is to be no conversation about what was received or the cards we're making. Then, on the 15th of the month, we all reveal our cards.
It's always fun to see how each person uses the image/papers.
This month it was Carol's turn to host. She chose the theme...
Spunky Older Babes
Carol's kit included lady images from Rubbernecker (she got special permission from Brass & Bliss to share these) and sentiments from Dylusions clear stamps. The DSP is from The Paper Studio "Pretty as a Poppy". The kits contain different papers from the paper pack as it was a smaller stack.
THANK YOU, Carol!
Here's my card:
Jeanette - that's me
Lorraine - SCS Gallery
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
I used the following things from my own stash (in addition to the items Carol sent)...
Cardstock: Recollections Black and White (on the inside) and SU Blushing Bride and Metallic Silver
Dies: Gina K Master Layouts 13 and MFT Stitched Rectangles
Embellishments: Amazon Diamond Dots

What a fun image--looks like we got different ones. I like the way you cut apart the sentiment--ransom note!
Such a fun card Jeanette. I love your design. Perfect placement for the words.
the way you cut apart the sentiment. You did a wonderful job with the kit.
