CAS826 Christmas Carols

Each Monday there is a new CAS Challenge on SCS. It's always fun to see what others create using the CAS theme.

This week's theme is...

Christmas Carols

Here's my card:

This card could represent the Jingle Bells, a popular Christmas carol, but it doesn't. I purposely colored the bells silver to represent the song Silver Bells. I was not familiar with this carol until I was in the third grade. Miss Goss, our beloved teacher taught it to us and we sang it in the Christmas program that year. It has since been one of my favorite Christmas carols, maybe because it is a beautiful song but it also probably is partially because Miss Goss was an amazing teacher - one of my most favorite teachers of all. It was her first year teaching. She was so creative and fun. And she was young and beautiful, too. The girls all adored her and many of the boys had crushes on her. I'm so thankful she was my teacher for those brief months that we were in Wichita Kansas during my third year of school.

I hope you'll check out the challenge - HERE - and play along, too.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
