Creative Crew 2024 - October

It's posting day for the Creative Crew. What exactly is the Creative Crew? We are a group of 7 card-making friends from various US locations who have a fun monthly creative adventure with a secretive twist.

One of the group's members hosts each month. As host, she chooses a theme and then sends each of the group members a theme-appropriate image and some designer paper. The host can also include a sentiment and/or special item if she chooses to do so. The group members all receive the same items, but there is to be no conversation about what was received or the cards we're making. Then, on the 15th of the month, we all reveal our cards.

It's always fun to see how each person uses the image/papers.

This month it was Lorraine's turn to host. She chose the theme...

Gingerbread House

Lorraine sent us the following items -

Image: "Gingerbread House - Peppermint Lane" from Brutus Monroe

Sentiments: "Happy Holidays" from Close to My Heart, "Bright Holidays Calligraphy" from Paper Inspirations, and "May Your Christmas" from Darcie's

DP: Green/Candy Cane from Colorplay's Homemade Holidays - Sweets Series, Lily White Sugar-Coated Cardstock from Doodlebug Designs, and Dark Blue/White Stars Paper from Echo Parks Let's Go Camping Series

Embellishment: Bitty Sparkles from Close to My Heart

Your house is colored perfectly to match the sweet paper. It does look good enough to eat. Fun Card!

So peaceful and serene! Your hills turned out much better than my hills LOL. Using the striped paper really makes it pop. I love what you've made!
