Hot Mess - July 2024

It's the 13th of July, which means I was supposed to post my Hot Mess card yesterday, but I had a DT commitment on my blog yesterday so I'm a day late.

Barb, Carol, Darlene, Terry, and I create cards for the Hot Mess Success challenge each month and share them on the 12th.

It's Anything Goes - as long as there is something messy involved.

Last month, I ended up with an "extra" messy piece that I said I'd use at some point. You can find that blog post --> HERE.

I did decide to add some more mess to the piece, though. I took a disposable cup and pressed the cup into a Metallic Gold ink pad, gathering ink on the rim, which I then "stamped" randomly on my altered piece of paper. That didn't add enough for my liking, so I took another cup and added some dark gray ink.

Be sure to check out the other Hot Mess gals blogs, too, to see their cards (you'll be WOW'd!)...

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

  1. Love how you 'redeemed' this Jeanette - the circles are a great addition to the background, and the large sentiment is perfect over it

  2. Very impressive! I love the bright colors of the background. Then creating the circles of gold and gray with a cup rim is inspired! Nicely done! This truly is a success.
