It's a White Elephant

I attended a crafting retreat in April. It was hosted by my friend Barb. There were eleven of us hanging out at The Gather House in Waunakee Wisconsin.  Fun fun times!

Barb is not only organized which ensures there are no glitches along the way, but she also is good at including extra activities to make things even better. One such activity is the White Elephant gift exchange.

There was a lot of stealing and oohing and ahhing... and in the end we all had something fun to take home with us.

One of the things that was in the White Elephant gift that I received (it was from April) was a set of Altenew Acrylic Markers. I used them to color in the design on the panel of this card (using a stencil that I purchase in the sale corner at the retreat). I also used a metallic marker to add highlights. April gave each of us at the retreat two of these markers.

I didn't make the card until yesterday, but decided it was time to do something with that interesting panel.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
