Create It 3 Ways - June 2024

I participated in the Create It 3 Ways Instagram Hop yesterday. It is a monthly hop (on the 3rd Saturday of every month) and each month there is a new theme. The idea is to make 3 cards based on the theme, hence the name Create It 3 Ways. There needs to be some commonality between all three cards, but the participants can decide what that common thing is.

This month's theme is Summer. 

For me, summer means going to little local ice cream shops for ice cream treats.

There were several things alike on these cards, even though each one featured a different stamp (ice cream cone in hand).

Things that were alike: I used the same colors of Copic and Olo markers, the same color card base and other papers, the same sentiment cut with the same die, the same two embellishments on each card, and the same two sets of dies to cut all of the papers (other than the sentiment).

Stamp Sets: CC Designs Ice Scream, MFT Make Mine a Double, and Whipper Snapper Emery stamped with Hero Arts Intense Black Ink and colored with Copic and Olo Markers

Papers: Accent Opaque 120# White, FSJ Lemon Drop and SU Tahitian Tide CS and DP from my scrap file

Dies: Honey Bee Sweet Stack Rectangles, MFT Stitched Rectangles, and Pink & Main Extra Large Sentiment Strips
