Family Love

I hope you had a wonderful Easter. For many, that means time spent with family so it seems appropriate that I have a family-themed set of cards to share with you today.

I used the same Technique Junkies stamp for all three cards - Being a Family. Truthfully, all three cards are mostly the same. The same design. The same embellishments. The big difference is the way I colored the greenery in each of the cards.

On this first card, I used my "normal" method. I stamped on white cardstock and colored with Copic markers.

Then I decided to use some Crumb Cake (Kraft-colored) cardtock and color with colored pencils.

I colored the image with a white colored pencil, which resulted in a soft/subtle look.

I wanted to try one more look.

This time I again stamped the image on white cardstock, but instead of coloring it with a white colored pencil, I used two green colored pencils.

So, I'm curious. Which of the three looks do you like best? Are there other combinations of paper/color you would try?

I hope you've enjoyed seeing these three variations.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

  1. I like all three of them for various reasons. But, the green on crumb cake is my favorite!
