It's posting day for the Creative Crew. What exactly is the Creative Crew? We are a group of 7 card-making friends from various US locations who have a fun monthly creative adventure with a secretive twist.
One of the group's members hosts each month. As host, she chooses a theme and then sends each of the group members a theme-appropriate image and some designer paper. The host can also include a sentiment and/or special item if she chooses to do so. The group members all receive the same items, but there is to be no conversation about what was received or the cards we're making. Then, on the 15th of the month, we all reveal our cards.
It's always fun to see how each person uses the image/papers.
This month it was Carol's turn to host. She chose the theme...
National Poultry Day
(which is on March 19th)
Carol sent us the amazing rooster image from Stampin' UP!'s Rustic Rooster stamp set and several pieces of designer paper from the Paper Studio Country Road collection.
THANK YOU, Carol!

Jeanette--your card is wonderful! The coloring of the rooster is outstanding--looks so real. And, I love that you darkened the background. And, I love the layers of your card. Well Done!
Wow!! love the Pumpkin Pie color on that paper. It's perfect! Your coloring of the rooster is really pretty (of course!) Everything about this card is so well done.
Jeanette another stunner. I love how you used the pumpkin pie to color over the dsp to get a deeper color. It turned out perfect and what a great idea to get the effect you were looking for. Another great idea to remember. Great Job.
What a fun card. You colored that rooster beautifully.
You have given you rooster a fabulous rustic look Jeanette - a great cards
Blessings
