It's the 14th of September, which means I'm two days late getting messy. (insert deer-in-the-headlight look) As you likely recall from previous 12ths, I am not one who likes messes. Not one bit. BUT a challenge is only a challenge if it stretches you, and I'm up for the Hot Mess Success Challenge. I am late this month as I had other posts here on my blog... but the other Hot Mess gals are forgiving so it's okay.
Barb, Carol, Darlene, Terry, and I create cards for the Hot Mess Success challenge each month and share them on the 12th.
It's Anything Goes - as long as there is something messy involved.
I started by pouncing Ranger Distress Ink onto a piece of plastic and then spritzed it with water before smearing heavy white cardstock through the mess. Once it was completely dry I diecut the word hi from the paper.
The background was diecut and then embossed using the Stampin' UP! Tufted Dynamics embossing folder. I blended ink around the edges.
Be sure to check out the other Hot Mess gals blogs to see their cards, too (you'll be WOW'd!)...
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
