It's posting day for the Creative Crew. What exactly is the Creative Crew? We are a group of 7 card-making friends from various US locations who have a fun monthly creative adventure with a secretive twist.
One of the group's members hosts each month. As host, she chooses a theme and puts together theme appropriate kits, which she mails to the other members, keeping one for herself, too. The group members all receive the same kit, but there is to be no conversation about the kit or the cards we're making. Then, on the 15th of the month, we all reveal our cards.
It's always fun to see how each person uses the kit.
This month it was my turn to host. I chose the theme...
Christmas in July
This is what was in the kit:
Image: CC Designs Green One stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Sentiments: CC Designs Green One, Crackerbox Grinch Saying, and Taylored Expressions On the Block Merry stamped with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink, and Taylored Expressions On the Block Merry stamped with Taylored Expressions Watermelon Ink
Papers: Accent Opaque 120# White (for stamping), Recollections Fa La La La Paper Pad, and My Mind's Eye 12 Days of Christmas Paper Pad
Embellishments: SU Ribbons, Taylored Expressions Red Pearls, and Brads, Enamel Dots, and Rhinestones from my stash
Here's my card:
I asked the Crew to share their favorite thing about Christmas on their reveal post. I didn't really think that through until I started to put this blog post together... because the truth is, I can't name ONE favorite thing about Christmas, other than the fact that is a celebration of the birth of Christ. I love the twinkling lights, gift giving, traditions, and so much more. One thing for sure - I'm no Grinch!
Here's the inside:
Jeanette - that's me
Lorraine - SCS Gallery
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
The only things I used other than what was in the kit was some CS (Recollections White for inside and SU Real Red for the card base) and the following dies: MFT Inside & Out Stitched Arches, MFT Stitched Rectangles, and Simon Says Sentiment Labels.

Such a fun card Jeanette. That grinch is just so cute.
Very fun card--love the design and the grinch standing on the word Merry. Thanks for a very fun kit this month. And, I am sorry I missed the part about telling the favorite part of Christmas. I truly enjoy Christmas Eve Service/s. The excitement is heartwarming
Lovely work! Your cards are always so great! My favorite thing about Christmas is seeing how excited my son gets every year as the holiday season gets closer.
