Basket Weave

One of my favorite challenge groups is the Challenge Your Stash group on SCS, under the capable and organized leadership of my friend Barb. The idea is we can't shop for anything when making our monthly challenge card (which we post on the 28th of each month).

We take turns choosing the theme. This month it was Sharon's turn. In honor of May Day and putting baskets on people's porches she asked us to include weaving or baskets on our cards. I might have cheated a bit. I misread the instructions and thought it was a basket weave theme so I used a piece of basket weave designer paper on my card. I'm sure glad there aren't any CYS police. EEK!

    This is gorgeous Jeanette - love the dp with the woven pattern on it, even if it wasn't quite what the challenge criteria was

    Such a beautiful card. I love the backgrounds - dots on the paper and the basketweave. Great backgrounds for the gorgeous flowers.

    I just love this card with the basket weave embossing folder. Makes me think I need to pull out my embossing folder. Makes for such a pretty card.
