I started a new series on my blog in July of 2021. The idea was born from the fact that I have a lot of unused card/stamping kits just waiting to have some attention. Sheesh! Seems as though I buy them and they just sit. That just shouldn't be so I'm going to commit to using a kit once a month for this "From a Kit" series.
This month I used the Filled with Joy Card Kit from My Favorite Things. This kit is from September 2018 - and I'm embarrassed to say I hadn't used it yet. That's ridiculous!
The kit comes with some suggestions for how to use the items - 6 different cards - but as is often the case, I used the products my own way. For one thing, although this is a Christmas-themed kit, I wanted to stretch it beyond that, so I made one Christmas card and one non-Christmas card.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
In addition to the My Favorite Things Filled with Joy Card Kit, I used some dies (MFT Stitched Rectangle and Simon Says Sentiment Strips), designer paper from my scrap file, and various brads from unknown vendors.

What a wonderful addition to your challenge, to make a non-Christmas card, and the result is stunning, Jeanette - both cards are a delight, but the second is absolutely fabulous!
Blessings
