BK - Buck, Doe, and Fawn Die

Fridays are special days - who doesn't love TGIF, right? But here on my blog Fridays are also special because they are the day I get to post as a design team member for Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.

For today's cards I used the Buck, Doe, and Fawn die set.

You can check out the die set in the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps store - HERE.

Card #1

Silhouette Rocks and Trees Stamp

Card #2

Dense Forest Stamp

I wanted to use vellum to give a hazy look to the forest, but I always have a challenge with attaching vellum without seeing the adhesive. I started by stamping the image, adding color, and then gluing the Buck (with its antlers trimmed off) to the image.

I then tore a piece of vellum slightly shorter than the height of the card and added ink to its edges to soften it a bit. I added glue to the antler-less buck and laid the piece of vellum over the top.

I tucked the ends of the vellum around to the back of the card and then matted the card with black to complete the process.

  1. Wonderful cards. You did a great job using the vellum on the second card.
