Fridays are special days - who doesn't love TGIF, right? But here on my blog Fridays are also special because they are the day I get to post as a design team member for Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.
For today's card I used the Egret and Waterway stamp set today.
You can check out the stamp set in the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps store - HERE.
Card #1
I wanted to create a sunrise look for this card, so I stamped the image and then masked the lower portion so just the sky was seen. I then blended yellow, orange, and orange-red inks onto the image to create the sky.
After removing the mask, I colored the rest of the image with Copic Markers. I then placed the piece back in my Misti (I'd left the stamp attached) and restamped the image with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink to get a nice crisp look.
Card #2
I love the leaf stamp included with the stamp set. It's so fun to randomly add leaves to the trees. I did that after coloring the image with Copic Markers.
