I Wish It Was a Covered Bridge

Kelly, Barb, and I have been creating together as the Three Musketeers every month since November 2014. We all three create a card using the same image. I always enjoy seeing how different our cards are, even though we use the same image. This is one of my favorite posts of the month.

We take turns choosing what stamp will be used. This month it was Barb's turn. She chose a lovely covered bridge image from the Gina K Country Roads stamp set. I received it; I remember receiving it and you'd think I would have filed it in my 3M folder - but nope! It's not there. In fact, I can't find Barb's envelope anywhere even after looking and looking. So, what's a gal to do? I texted Barb and confessed. I apologized. Barb graciously accepted my apology and suggested I use any Gina K stamp set I own to substitute for this 3M post. THANK YOU for being so understanding, Barb. I really appreciate you!

i. hate. it. when. i. mess. up.

I used the barn from Gina K's Rustic Autumn stamp set. Not a covered bridge, but at least it is a wooden structure like a covered bridge, right?

Be sure to check out Kelly's and Barb's cards on their blogs, too.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

  2. I feel so much better now seeing your post - I, too, did not get an envelope and thought I missed the memo that we were taking the month off! I think your card is perfect and a great replacement for the 3M - great thinking outside the box!
