Ink Pad Experiment #9

You might recall that I mentioned I was wanting to invest in some colored ink pads, but am not sure what brand I want so I'm testing some to see which brand best meets my needs. If you missed that blog post, you can check it out - HERE

I'm wanting dye inks that blend smoothly with blender brushes but are also suitable for stamping.

For today's card I used Impression Obsession Ink Pads. I actually owned 3 mini cubes, so used those to blend a random background. The colors are Brick, Rust, and Yellow Ochre. After blending I cut a piece with a stitched die and then blended some more of the ink around the edges.

Not my favorite inks that I've tried so far, in the way of blending, but I can say I loved these fall colors!

I still have a few brands to try before I decide which I like best.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Stamp Set: Unity Season of Inspiration stamped with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink

Paper: Hammermill 110# White and SU Basic Black CS

Ink (for blending): Impression Obsession Brick, Rust, and Yellow Ochre

  3. Stunning card Jeanette - despite they are not your favourite inks to blend with, the result is amazing. 9 brands, that's a lot of experiments! I assume you are taking notes each time :)
