It's time for another Mission
Good Day, Ms. Card-Maker. Your next mission, should you decide to accept it, involves the use of these rainbow tempera paint sticks! As in the past, you will be working alongside the same two team members. This message will not self-destruct in five seconds, since I have no ability to do that and besides, you might need to refer to it again at some point. Good Day and Good Luck!
Let me just say - I played and played and played some more with these paint sticks. Some attempts were more successful than others. BUT... the possibilities are endless and I'm certain I will be playing with them some more in the future. Thanks for a GREAT MIP item, Kelly!
For the background (behind the celebrate) I used three different colors of the paint sticks - Light Green, Pink, and Yellow. I also used 3 pieces of clear wrappers (from stamps or such). I smeared one paint stick onto one piece of plastic, added a couple of drops of water and blended the color. I then smooshed it onto cardstock. After it dried I repeated the process (two more times, in fact - once for each color). I liked the look but thought it needed more, so I took the blue paint stick and smeared it onto a piece of plastic adding a few drops of water to get a thin consistency. I then splattered it onto the piece of smooshed paper to add spots of blue.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
