Ink Pad Experiment #3

You might recall that I mentioned I was wanting to invest in some colored ink pads, but am not sure what brand I want so I'm testing some to see which brand best meets my needs. If you missed that blog post, you can check it out - HERE

I'm wanting dye inks that blend smoothly with blender brushes but are also suitable for stamping.

For today's card I used Maker Forte Ink Pads. As I mentioned in yesterday's blog post, I'm quite impressed with their Eclipse Black Color Hive Ink Pad. Today's card features two additional colors - Frappe (which isn't at all the color I expected - it's sort of like a soft orange) and Welsh Dragon. I love both of these colors and really think they go together well.

I blended the Welsh Dragon onto a piece of white cardstack using a fun stencil. Then I used a die to cut the panel before blending the Frappe ink around the edges. These inks blended beautifully!

I still have a few brands to try before I decide which I like best, but I can tell you for sure - Maker Forte is a strong contender.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
