Over the Fence

I wanted to use a fence die set that I purchased some time ago and had yet to use. It is from Waffle Flower and is called Over the Fence. It not only includes the fence, it also has a grass border and a sign to hang on the fence. Such fun!

I started with a piece of white cardstock and did some ink blending. Well, first I cut the grass border and used it as a stencil to do the blending. Once I was satisfied with my grass, I lightly blended blue ink onto the sky.

The fence piece was cut using white cardstock and I blended Baked Brown Sugar ink onto it to give it a bit of a weathered look that would not have been accomplished with using brown cardstock.

A puppy, some clouds, a butterfly brad, and of course the sign completed the look.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
