I remember when something exciting happened when I was a child, I'd tell my sister to "Pinch me" so I could be sure I wasn't dreaming. Now I'm all grown up, but I'm still having those moments when I would like to ask my sister to pinch me. This past week was one such time.
I received a private message from one of the hostesses of the SCS Color Challenges, inviting me to be a guest designer for the month of April. YES! (It didn't take me long to respond to her.) Thank you so much for the invitation, Mary!
This week's Color Challenge (#CC890) is Misty Moonlight, White, and Old Olive. The "Dessert" is any 4th color. I added three Soft Apricot colored faceted gems to my card for my dessert color.
Here's my card:
I used one of my newer stamps to create the spots on the background piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock. The Maker Forte Splatter Square Style 4 stamp is made of a bendable rubber, allowing crafters to ink it and then rock it onto the paper to add random splatters. This was the first time I'd used it and I was quite surprised with how easy it was - even for hands that are riddled with arthritis.
I hope you'll check out the Color Challenge - HERE - and play along.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
