Coffee to Go

I {heart} SCS.

I'm pretty sure it's no secret - splitcoaststampers is my happy place. It's where friendships are made. It's where inspiration is gleaned. It's where tutorials are found. Oh, and did I mention, CHALLENGES (new ones each day of the week)!

Each challenge has a few people who know the themes ahead of time and create cards/samples to be shared when the challenge is introduced. I was delighted when I was asked to join the Sketch Challenge design team for six months. Each Wednesday (February - July 2022) I'll share the card I made for the current week's Sketch Challenge.

This Week's Sketch (#SC900):

Before I share my card we need to talk. ;) In writing, there is a thing known as literary license which allows the writer to disregard some rules of grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc. Likewise, there is a thing known as creative license which refers to a creator's freedom to ignore the conventions or rules that normally govern the art in which he or she works.

When you see my sketch card for today's sketch, please understand that I took certain liberties with my execution of the sketch. (I sure hope that's okay.)

Here's my card:

In my eyes the two wheels and the road were part of the sketch. A stretch, perhaps, but it is what I see.

I hope you'll check out the Sketch Challenge - HERE - and play along.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

  1. It works for me! I love the fact that there are no Challenge Police around ever! So, I love that if you make the connection, it is good to go! Love your creation and congrats on getting so much done and meeting all of the new challenges!
