Hot Mess - Take 32

It's the 12th of March, time to get messy. (insert deer-in-the-headlight look) As you likely recall from previous 12ths, I am not one who likes messes. Not one bit. BUT a challenge is only a challenge if it stretches you, and I'm up for the Hot Mess Success Challenge.

Barb, Carol, Darlene, Kelly, and I create cards for the Hot Mess Success challenge each month and share them on the 12th.

It's Anything Goes - as long as there is something messy involved.

This month I searched around on SCS for an idea to use and happened upon the Distressed Glue Tutorial. You can see it - HERE. I decided to give it a try. I first put drops of glue on a die-cute piece of white cardstock and then used my finger to spread the glue a bit. After it had dried I used a blender brush to add the pretty yellow ink all over it, buffing it with a soft cloth when I was satisfied with the color.

From there it was simple to put the rest of my card together.

Be sure to check out the other Hot Mess gals blogs, too, to see their cards (you'll be WOW'd!)...

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

I always enjoy seeing your messy cards because they always turn out fabulous! In fact, your technique is new to me, so I'll try to remember to try it soon especially if I plan ahead to let the glue and paint dry before assembling. Terrific card and post! Keep on trying new mixed media techniques!
