Double Duty 2022 - Stampin' UP!

A year ago today Barb, Kelly, and I debuted a new series called Double Duty. Barb's idea was that we would use one stamp set from a specified stamp company to create two cards, hence the "double" duty. At least one thing needed to be the same on both cards. Posting day is the 22nd of each month, another double.

Over the year, we added Carol to the group.

As we embark on year number 2 the group members will be Barb, Carol, Darlene, and me.

This month's predetermined stamp company is Stampin' UP! I chose to use the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set for my two cards.

I love to color, so instead of using the 2-step stamping technique that this stamp set offers, I colored my images. It gives a much different look than if I'd stamped the colors onto the flower.

  1. Wow, wow, WOW!! Both cards are so very pretty. But if forced to pick just one, I think the second one is my favorite. Your coloring is so pretty, I'm glad you did that instead of 2 step stamping!

  2. Oh Jeanette, I love both of these cards. I love the layout of the first card using the frame and circle. The dsp and colors you chose are outstanding!!! Card 2 has a similar layout and is quite unique. Great job on both cards.
