Blue Knight - Golf

Fridays are special days - who doesn't love TGIF, right? But here on my blog Fridays are also special because they are the day I get to post as a design team member for Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.

I used the new Golf stamp set today.

You can check out the stamp set in the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps store - HERE.

Card #1

For this card I placed a piece of scrap paper at an angle on top of a piece of white cardstock. I used a blender brush to add green ink to the part of the cardstock that wasn't covered. Once I was satisfied with the coverage, I stamped the golfer image onto the cardstock.

The sentiment on this card is from the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Mini Greetings 1 stamp set.

Card #2

I used a circle stencil to add the circle of yellow ink onto a piece of white cardstock. After attaching a piece of green designer paper at the bottom, I stamped the image onto the piece.

I didn't think about the fact that the varying depth of paper would leave a gap in the coloring. What to do? Toss it? No! I just took a black Copic marker to fill in the gap.

I think it's amazing to see how one stamp looks so different depending on how it's used.
