My ONE in 2021 - November

The 3rd of each month is a special day here on my blog - it's the day that Kelly (the founder of this series), Barb, and I share our One Plus Twelve cards. The idea is to use the same ONE stamp (not a set) each month to create a card. Sentiments can be used, too, if we choose. Want to know more? You can read all about it on my January 3rd blog post - found HERE.

My ONE stamp this year is the maple leaf from the Stampin' UP! Gather Together stamp set.

This month's idea came to me in the form of some packing material. I recently received something wrapped in heavier clear plastic and when I crumpled it to put it in the trashcan it just did NOT want to stay crumpled. Hmmmm... could I scrunch it up and use it to apply ink in a smudged/random fashion? It was worth a try.

First I stamped and diecut the leaf, then I used the crumpled plastic to add four colors of ink to the leaf. It took a few applications to get a look I liked and it wasn't quite as vibrant as I'd hoped even then, but I decided it was good enough.

I hope you'll keep an eye out on the 3rd of each month this year to see how I do with this ONE stamp - and also will check out Kelly's and Barb's ONE stamp cards, too. Speaking of which, let's head over to their blogs now to admire their June cards.
