The 3rd of each month is a special day here on my blog - it's the day that Kelly (the founder of this series), Barb, and I share our One Plus Twelve cards. The idea is to use the same ONE stamp (not a set) each month to create a card. Sentiments can be used, too, if we choose. Want to know more? You can read all about it on my January 3rd blog post - found HERE.
My ONE stamp this year is the maple leaf from the Stampin' UP! Gather Together stamp set.
This month I did an ink smooching technique to lay down three colors of Ranger Distress Inks onto a piece of heavy white card stock.
After the ink was completely dry, I placed it in my Misti and stamped the leaf onto the colorful paper.
After die-cutting the leaf, I put together a very simple card, letting that colorful leaf to be the only color on the card, other than the card base.
The sentiment is from a Close to My Heart stamp set called Happy Autumn.
I hope you'll keep an eye out on the 3rd of each month this year to see how I do with this ONE stamp - and also will check out Kelly's and Barb's ONE stamp cards, too. Speaking of which, let's head over to their blogs now to admire their June cards.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

BEAUTIFUL! I love how dramatic the ink colors on the leaf are and the bold lines of the image. They are perfect together! Lovely edging details on the frames. Very, very nice!
ReplyDeleteOoooh, what a stunner Jeanette - love the intense colour on the leaf, and you have amplified it by letting it be the only colour
