Inspired By Gina K

This past Saturday was World Cardmaking Day. I hope you had time - made time - for cardmaking. I actually made a weekend of it. LOL! I was delighted to be part of the Crop & Create Delivered cardmaking event hosted by Scrapbook & Cards Today. It was a virtual event with classes by some amazing teachers. I actually only completed the cards for one of the classes but that's okay. Because it was virtual, I can go back and view and review the classes and make the cards later.

The card I have to share today is NOT one of the cards from Crop & Create Delivered, but it is inspired by one of the cards/classes; the one taught by Gina K, one of my all-time favorites in the stamping world.

I started by blending ink into a masked oval - using Ranger Distress Inks (top to bottom - Barn Door, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron). From there it was simply choosing elements and putting together a simple card.

Not that she'll ever see my blog post, but I want to publicly thank Gina K for being such an inspiration to me!
