Fridays are special days - who doesn't love TGIF, right? But here on my blog Fridays are also special because they are the day I get to post as a design team member for Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.
I used the Sunflower Sunshine stamp set to make this week's cards. This stamp set is STUNNING. Okay, maybe I'm a wee bit biased. I do love sunflowers! But really, isn't this stamp set gorgeous?
It has those beautiful sunflowers as well as some bees and two great sentiments.
You can check out the stamp set in the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps store - HERE.
For my first card, I colored the stamped image with Copic Markers and added a stamped Scripture from the stamp set, too.
Oh, the joys of those who trust in the Lord. Psalm 40:4
For my second card, I began by using a circle stencil and blending brushes to add a circle to a piece of white cardstock.
I then stamped the image onto the piece, being careful to insure that the large sunflower "face" was positioned the way I wanted it in the spotlight area.
I used Copic Markers to color the single sunflower on this card. I liked the way the others being uncolored made the spotlighted one the focal point of the card.
I think it's amazing to see how one stamp looks so different depending on how it's used.
