This is my second blog post of today. If you're here to see my Stamp What? card either keep scrolling (it's the next blog post) or go - HERE.
Fridays are special days - who doesn't love TGIF, right? But here on my blog Fridays are also special because they are the day I get to post as a design team member for Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.
I used the Meadow and Mountain stamp set to make this week's cards. My eyes are immediately drawn to the flowers in the foreground of this single stamp, but then there is that gorgeous lake, trees, and mountain in the background. It really is a pretty stamp.
You can check out the stamp set in the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps store - HERE.
I made two cards, using Copic markers to color both of them, but one is in softer colors with brighter yellow flowers and the other one has a brighter color for the sky, lake and surrounding area, but the flowers are a soft lavender color.
I used dies to cut out the colored images, but left my cards pretty.
Dies use:
Yellow Flower Card - My Favorite Things Mod Stitched Rectangle
Lavender Flowers Card - Jaded Blossom Scallop Rectangle and My Favorite Things Stitched Rectangle
I think it's amazing to see how one stamp looks so different depending on how it's used.
