Fridays are special days - who doesn't love TGIF, right? But here on my blog Fridays are also special because they are the day I get to post as a design team member for Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.
I used the Horse and Sleigh stamp set to make this week's cards, and tried doing something a wee bit different with them. You can check out the stamp set in the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps store - HERE.
This stamp features the same image in three different sizes, which makes it quite versatile.
You can see two of the sizes on my two cards.
Card #1
For this card I cut (free hand) a piece of scrap paper to use as a "stencil" to create the ink blended snowy slopes as well as the sky on my card.
I added some Stickles Glitter Glue to the lines of the snowy banks and a snowflake brad, too.
Card #2
For this card I started by blending ink onto a piece of cardstock and once I was happy with the look, I stamped the Horse and Sleigh image on top of it. I then took my Taylored Expressions Diagonal Stripes Die and cut the piece (gasp!). I reassembled it onto my card and added a Happy Anniversary sentiment from the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Mini Greetings 1 stamp set.
I think it's amazing to see how one stamp looks so different depending on how it's used.
