If you hang around my blog on any kind of regular basis you know that a few of my friends and I have regular challenges and I also participate in some the SCS challenges, but beyond that, I rarely participate in challenges (as in challenge blogs). That being said, Lisa, one of the members of the Crafters of Faith group is a guest designer for the Retro Rubber Challenge Blog and so I took a look. Their main idea is that participants have to use stamps that are at least a year old on their entries.
Okay, I'll admit it - two things actually.
1. I have a lot of older stamps.
2. I love the pictures of the Retro Rubber Challenge DT members (you really need to take a look).
I was immediately drawn in and wanted to participate, too.
The current challenge (Retro Rubber Challenge #162) is a sketch challenge... so that is fun.
I used the Stampin' UP! Yappy Day stamp set, circa 2007 to make my card.
I hope you'll check out Lisa's blog post and card, too, since she's the one who inspired me to play along with the Retro Rubber Challenge. You'll find it - HERE.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

I'm so pleased that you took a look at us, Jeanette! Especially since you've chosen to share such a fabulous card with us! The simple, bold colour palette is a standout. The detailiing, such as the stitched edges and the tiny bone, really elevate your design. Thank you so much for joining in with us at Retro Rubber Challenge.
Now why didn't I ever get this stamp set....it's so stinkin' CUTE! The whole card is adorable! LOVE it and so glad that you played along with us!
I love, love, love this yappy dog!! Precious card, Jeanette!
