Salt Life!

Today is a special day - it's the day for the Classy Card Ladies DUEL. If you've been around my blog much, you know we usually post on the 15th, but this month we've made a date change - just for this month - due to some postal issues regarding the kits. We'll be back on track posting on the 15th again next month.

For the past five months,  the pairs of hostesses have determined a theme and then sent kits to their respective team members based on that theme. This month, things are a wee bit different. Kelly, the main leader of our group and the one who is my hostessing partner, sent kits to ALL of the members. She so sweetly wanted to do that so I'd have a surprise, too.  THANK YOU for thinking of me, Kelly, and making this month special for ALL of us!

The surprise kind of had a kink.... but that's okay. We're a flexible group. My kit had an unexpected challenge, so I took Kelly's theme and used my supplies to make a card. I hope Kelly likes what I came up with.

Kelly said: I live in Miami and we are all about the beach and tropics and a popular saying here, as well as stickers on nearly every car, is #SaltLife! 

I know Kelly's kits included a gnome image, so I used my sea-worthy gnome from the Kat Scrappiness Summer Gnome stamp set.
