On yesterday's blog post I mentioned that I would be leading a breakout conference at the National Campers on Mission Rally next week. It's all about creative ways to draw closer to God. I shared the four sample Memorydex cards I made. On today's blog post I want to share the sample Hymnal Journaling entry I made.
Most Hymnal Journaling is done in a hymnal (book) but since this is a sample that I'll be showing to a group, it worked better to do it as an individual page, rather than to hold up an opened hymnal.
This hymn is very dear to my heart -
it is my Dad's favorite!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
Stamp/Die Set: Altenew Sweet Flowers stamped with Lawn Fawn Inks (Celery Stick, Freshly Cut Grass, Guava, and Peachy Keen) and Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Words: Computer Generated
Hymn Sheet: from an actual hymnal
Papers: Recollections Black and White and SU Calypso Coral CS and Paper Studio Black/White Diagonal Stripe DP
Ink Blending Technique: Heidi Swapp Lattice Stencil and Ranger Antique Linen Distress Ink
Such a pretty hymn and beautiful page. Love reading about your venture for next week.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great concept Jeanette - I had never thought to journal in a hymnal. This is a really pretty page
