I love cute types of stamps, those that are somewhat whimsical. The stamp that I was given to use for this week's Blue Knight Rubber Stamps guest designer post certainly fits that description. It's called Love Joy and Peace.
If you've been around my blog much you know I love to color flowers and one of my most-used colors is yellow, so the first card I made from this stamp set was the one with the penguins and that beautiful rose, which I colored yellow.
I thought the card needed a sentiment so I chose the Just a Note sentiment from the Blue Knights Rubber Stamps Mini Greetings 1 stamp set. A variety of rectangle dies, some pretty yellow designer paper, and the fun gingham ribbon completes the card.
For my second card from this set, I had to use the cute little row of animals.
This stamp along with the stamp set's sentiment fit perfectly on the mini slimline card size that is so popular right now.
I colored my critters with Copic markers as well as the heart on the sentiment.
