This week's Color Combination Challenge (#CC835) on SCS made me think of the beach. Oh how I'd love to be there right now.
I love to hear the sounds of the waves gently rolling toward the shore, or even crashing against surfaces near the water's edge. I love the smell of the salty air. I love watching the surfers catch the waves. I love walking the shoreline and feeling the damp sand on my feet. I love building sand castles. Of course, I also love looking for seashells. There are so many shapes, sizes and colors of them. Of course my favorites are the larger ones that seem to make ocean sounds when you hold them to your ear.
The colors of the challenge are Coastal Cabana, Night of Navy, and Purple Posy.
The additional element of the challenge is to use designer paper, so I traded out the Coastal Cabana CS for a similar color of designer papers.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

At the beach? ANYTIME!! I LOVE this sensational card, Jeanette!!
Jeanette, this is adorable. I love the sentiment, and I miss the beach. I usually go for a week each summer, but I missed it last year with the pandemic. I hope this summer will be better. I love the walks in the evening by the shoreline. Great job with your coloring and choice of printed paper. I like the diagonal line. TFS!
