Let's Get Messy - Take 20

It's the 12th of March,  time to get messy. (insert deer-in-the-headlight look) As you likely recall from previous 12ths, I am not one who likes messes. Not one bit. BUT a challenge is only a challenge if it stretches you, and I'm up for the Hot Mess Success Challenge.

Barb, Carol, Darlene, Kelly, Terry and I create cards for the Hot Mess Success challenge each month and share them on the 12th.

It's Anything Goes - as long as there is something messy involved.

This month I decided to try a technique that I recently found on SCS - the Misti Marbling Technique. It was a lot of fun and if my fingertips were any indication, it was definitely messy, but the look is so subtle that I'm not even sure it's noticeable. The  idea is to stamp the solid image with one color and then to add another color in just some areas by transferring ink from your fingertip to the stamp.

I did that with the background and the flower and leaf, but none of them really show the technique well.

Be sure to check out the other Hot Mess gals blogs, too, to see their cards (you'll be WOW'd!)...

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
