Seeking Shelter

The Crafters of Faith group is continuing this year - with a new organizer. Kelly started this group a few years ago and has done a great job leading us, but has decided this year to step back a bit - just a wee bit - and so Faye has taken over the role of organizing the monthly challenges. We still take turns choosing the theme and coordinating Scripture for the challenges. This month Lisa gave us these instructions...

Scripture: He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. (Psalm 91:4)

Challenge: Use this verse to inspire your card or project.

I love the verse Lisa chose - and hunted and hunted in my stash for a stamp of a chicken/duck/bird with her wings spread out and her young clustered around her. Alas, I don't have such a stamp... so I had to come up with a different plan.

I ended up using the Stampavie Under My Umbrella stamp because the little girl and her friends are sheltered under a big umbrella - with a BIRD on top of it.

I hope Lisa and Faye - and the other Crafters of Faith - like my card.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
