It's the 3rd of December... the day that Kelly, Barb, and I share our One Plus Twelve cards. One Plus Twelve is an idea that Kelly came up with last year - use one stamp (only one!) to make a card every month. Sentiments are optional. We had so much fun doing this last year that we decided to do it again this year. This year I chose Aleah Girl from Unity for my one stamp.
This is our 12th month - the last month of this year's One Plus Twelve series. That's okay, though. We three have decided to do this again next year and I think we've all three already chosen what stamp we are going to use. I know I have. It will be fun to see what the others choose on January 3rd.
BUT let's not forget about Miss December. I knew what I wanted to do this month literally months ago. I wanted to dress Aleah in an UGLY Christmas sweater by finding a scrap of Christmas designer paper to paper piece her sweater with.
I stamped the image onto a piece of acetate so I could lay it on top of different designer papers until I found one that suited me. This one ended up being my choice because I loved - LOVED - the way the paper's design made it look like the sleeves coordinated it with the body. Yes, that IS just one piece of designer paper. Isn't that cool? It did mean the tree isn't quite centered on her sweater, but I thought it was more important to get the sleeves the way I wanted them.
Those are dark red rhinestones in the holly centers as well as the other two that are set sort of behind the sentiment piece. The photography makes them look black. UGH!
Now let's head over to Kelly's blog and Barb's blog to see their One Plus Twelve cards.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Outstanding Card--love the sweater and it is a perfect piece of patterned paper! Such a great image that you picked for the year and it has been fun to look at all of the cards along the way!
How cute is Aleah all decked out for the holidays! Awesome work, Jeanette!!
How cool is this- perfect DP and it looks just right to me- love how the sleeves turned out as well! Very fun idea!
Such a lovely card. I found it intriguing how you stamped onto acetate to help out. This DP is so so perfect. It's like the sweater was knitted just for her.
