Advice from a Tree

The Challenge Your Stash group was challenged to make a Christmas tree card this month. I guess I was a bit of a rebel... because I didn't do Christmas, literally. I did use an evergreen tree (some would say a Christmas tree), but it's not a Christmas card. I hope Suzy, who chose the theme, will forgive me. She did say the tree could be decorated or not. I took that to the extreme, I guess.

I need to work on forgiving myself, too, I think. The white square (Advice from a Tree) piece is a bit crooked and it has frustrated me terribly. I tried removing it, to adjust it, with no success. UGH!

I hope Suzy, Barb (the group leader) and the other gals like my card.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Poor Jeanette. You sound frustrated with yourself. Give yourself some slack. This is a beautiful card.

This card is awesome. Follow the tree's advice, and enjoy the view. Happy New Year!

I love your card Jeanette. It could be a New Year's card because I think the advise is really great for maybe New Year's resolutions. Great job!

Wise words from a beautiful tree! There is always something just a bit wonky on all of my cards!! It happens!
