It's the 12th of November, time to get messy. (insert deer-in-the-headlight look) As you likely recall from previous 12ths, I am not one who likes messes. Not one bit. BUT a challenge is only a challenge if it stretches you, and I'm up for the Hot Mess Success Challenge.
Barb, Carol, Darlene, Kelly, Terry and I create cards for the Hot Mess Success challenge each month and share them on the 12th.
It's Anything Goes - as long as there is something messy involved. The pictures really don't show my messy element very well. I used a gilding polish and a stencil to create snow in the background and I also put the same gilding polish on the edge of my two panels of white snow banks.
Oh... and I also put the same gilding polish all over my hands and my work surface. Sheesh! I took the "messy" instructions to the extreme this month, it seems.
Messy Element: Creative Expressions Pearl Luster Gilding Polish and Simon Says Falling Snow Stencil
Stamp: Penny Black Snowy stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Copic Markers
Papers: Accent Opaque 120# White, Recollections Black, and SU Balmy Blue CS
Embellishments: SU Ribbon and a Glitter Snowflake Brad from an unknown vendor
You did a beautiful job (no mess seen here) creating this snow scene for your delightful snowman!! Great card, Jeanette!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card. Love the way the snow looks on here. I must agree, I too create messes whether there is a challenge or not. LOL! TFS!
ReplyDeleteThis card is amazing Jeanette. I love the snow and will have to check out how to do it.(And what to get to recreate it). Well done my "neat" friend
ReplyDeleteThis is too cute. This is one of my most favorite snowmen stamps--and the background is great!
