A Social Distancing Mask

I'm finally back with another card from the VSN Mini that took place over a week ago now. As you might have noticed, my blog has been busy with other things.

This card is a special one. For one thing, it's a gift card holder, but it's also shaped like a mask, which is so appropriate for these pandemic days.

Lee is the host of this challenge and the video she shared made it very easy to make this mask card. You can see it - HERE.

The back side of the mask/card has little pockets to hold the gift card, but it's the front of the mask that is decorated.

I didn't like the "seam" where the two pieces were joined together so I camouflaged them with the pretty flower/leaf.

The "Social Distancing" is a stamp from a freebie stamp set - Technique Tuesday Covid-19. When I received it many MANY weeks ago, I seriously wondered what I would ever do with it. Now I know.

This card was so easy to make - and fast, too. It only took me about 20 minutes from start to finish, once I'd watched the video.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Supplies Used

Stamp Set: Technique Tuesday Covid-19 stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink

Die: MFT Hibiscus

Papers: Accent Opaque 120# White CS and DP from my scrap file

Embellishment: Michael's Rhinestone and SU Ribbon

This is great, Jeanette and so very appropriate for this time. I think many will be sending gift cards, since we cannot meet up in person. FYI: I am back and look forward to seeing your creations daily. Thanks for sharing! Gotta go watch the video!

So very cute, and having it as a gift card makes it even nicer. I'm so sorry I haven't been around lately. I've just been so swamped with Christmas that I cannot keep up in blog land. Will try to be better. Hugs.
