This is the third Wednesday of November, which means it is the day that Barb, Kelly, and I reveal our Ready, Set, Go cards.
Not sure what Ready, Set, Go is? Well, it's a lot of fun! And a bit of creativity. And an extreme challenge theme.
Ready, Set, Go is an idea that Kelly came up with and she invited Barb and I to join her on the adventure. We take turns choosing the theme (this month it's Kelly's turn), but the idea is for it to be a bit more challenging than just the average theme.
This is Kelly's theme...
Gingerbread
Create a card (or project) that FEATURES a gingerbread man/woman. Don't have a stamp? There are digis - some of them free! Next step in the recipe, since gingerbread rises when you bake it, have a raised feature on your card. This can be as easy as glitter glue or Stickles or really fancy like a pop up card - your choice! For the next step, use one of the colors of the word G-I-N-G-E-R-B-R-E-A-D and use that color as your trimming (hairbows, bowties, etc.)
Okay, first... I didn't have a stamp so I went searching. I found a free image that worked for what I had in mind. Chicfetti to the rescue!
Red buttons are my "R" item.
For my card design I added a circle of red cardstock in an attempt to create the look of the gingerbread on a plate - I'm not sure how well that worked.
I hope Kelly and Barb like my card. Be sure to check out Barb's blog and Kelly's blog to see what they did with this Ready Set Go theme!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
