Happy Easter!
Not only is today Easter, it is also the 12th, which means it's the day that Barb, Kelly, Terry and I get messy. The idea behind this series is we can do pretty much whatever we want to do when making the card... as long as there's a messy element to it; hence the name Hot Mess Success.
I will admit two things.
1.) I don't like making messes so this is almost always a challenge for me. That's okay. Challenging me to step out of my comfort zone is a good thing.
2.) I didn't get very messy this month. In fact, I used four different colors of Ranger Distress Inks, my Taylored Expressions Blender Brushes and the My Favorite Things Sun Rays stencil to create a the messy element on my card.
I added a sentiment (from The Project Bin's Spring Zen stamp set) and die cut the piece out with the My Favorite Things Wonky Stitch Rectangle Die.
Then it was just a matter of putting the card together and adding some Eyelet Outlet Enamel Dots.
There is an Easter greeting inside the card from the same stamp set I used on the front.
I hope Barb, Kelly, and Terry like my card.
Now let's head over to their blogs to see their messiness, too...

Oh Jeanette - a stunning result, but were you really messy enough? Love the sentiment - bold, but not too much, and the enamel dots are the perfect embellishment
Stay safe
Blessings
Maxine
Your card is so pretty--I think you did get messy enough!
What a beautiful Easter sunrise design, Jeanette!! I missed attending the Easter sunrise service at my son's museum which is the "usual".
