Love You More Than Mud

Kelly, Barb, and I usually share our Ready, Set, Go creations on the third Wednesday of each month so today is the day.

Not sure what Ready, Set, Go is? Well, it's a lot of fun! And a bit of creativity. And an extreme challenge theme.

Ready, Set, Go is an idea that Kelly came up with over two years ago and she invited Barb and I to join her on the adventure. We take turns choosing the theme, but the idea is for it to be a bit more challenging than just the average theme.

Kelly gave us a great theme this month - one that I was super excited about (yet failed to do well at). The idea in my head just didn't cooperate on paper. I hate when that happens.

Stop, Drop and Roll

Remember the times when we were young and we were taught if we were in trouble: stop drop and roll.

Well, we aren't in trouble but we are going to channel that saying for this month's Ready, Set, Go challenge!

For this month, let's take each part of that saying for your newest challenge.

STOP:  Use one of the letters in the words STOP as your main color .. each of those letters have several to choose!

DROP:  Use any element on your card that you have to drop - alcohol inks, paint (splatter effect), water, etc.

ROLL: Use anything from a roll (a brayer, a marble rolled in paint, etc.) Drop and roll pair nicely together!

Obviously for my Color I chose Pink. That part was easy. I wanted to create mud for my Drop and Roll feature so I dropped drops of Master's Touch Acrylic Paint on white CS and used a brayer to roll it around, trying to make a mud puddle.  Yep, total fail! But I did try. I hope Kelly and Barb won't be too disappointed in me.
