Let's Get Messy - Take 6

Today is the 12th, which means it's the day for Hot Mess Success. What is that? Each month Kelly, Barb, Terry and I get messy while making a card. This is a little challenge/series that Barb developed and invited the others of us to join her. It's our sixth month... and I can truthfully say this is a challenge for me. Have I mentioned before that I do not like messes. Nope. Not a bit. LOL!

So, let's do this.

For today's Hot Mess Success we also had a sub-theme of Sparkle. That was my idea, as if being messy wasn't enough of a challenge, right? I did add some sparkle to my card. It just doesn't look like I did because I am a pathetic photographer.

As you can see I succeeded in making a mess:

I used an air puffer thing that i got for Christmas to make this mess. I dropped ink onto Canon Photo Paper, then lightly misted water onto it before puffing air onto it to move the ink around.

After it had dried I sprayed it with Imagine Sparkle Shimmer Spray - for the sparkle aspect of the Challenge.

It wasn't messy (maybe that's why I like Stickles so much) but I also added some Stickles Glitter Glue to the centers of the flowers.

I couldn't bear to toss the piece of "leftovers" after I'd diecut the oval out of my messy paper so I decided to use it inside my card...

I hope Barb, Kelly, and Terry like my card.

Now let's head over to their blogs to see their messiness, too...
