The Bible Art Journaling group on SCS is hosted by Julie. She gives us a theme to work with each month. For October she encouraged us to create a BAJ project with either a Spirit/Spiritual or Harvest/Feast theme. I chose to go with Harvest.
Not only that, I did multiple styles of projects, which I'll explain a little bit later in this blog post.
First... I created a page in my Journaling Bible (which is what we normally do in Julie's group).

May the nations praise you, O God.
Yes, may all the nations praise you.
Then the earth will yield its harvests,
and God, our God, will richly bless us.
Yes, God will bless us,
and people all over the world will fear him.
Psalm 67:5-7 (NLT)
I created a couple of samples for my breakout around this "Harvest" theme.
A Rolodex Scripture Card:

A Hymnal Journaling Page:

I normally would leave the page in the hymnal, but since I'll need to conserve weight for the flight, I removed it from the hymnal and adhered it to cardstock for stability.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
OH Jeanette how wonderful to be involved in this mission, and I love the theme of your 'breakout'. Praying all goes well for you !

Here in my neck of the woods, cotton is being harvested!! Every highway looks like it is dotted with snow! Praise God for the bountiful harvest!
