Let's Get Messy - Take 2

You might remember that last month Barb, Kelly, Terry and I began a new challenging series all about getting messy. We wanted to stretch ourselves a bit in our crafting and trust me, this stretches me since I'm not one who normally gets very messy. Sheesh! I don't even let my stamping desk get messy. Yep, I'm one of those people - you know, the ones who clean up between each card/project. 

But I'm trying to change. Really, I am, though it isn't apparent by this very poor attempt at getting messy making a card. I'm sorry. I'll try to do better next month.

The "mess" on this card was made by using a stencil (Fun Stampers Journey Vintage Screen) and some embossing paste (Dreamweaver) that I added using a palette knife. 

I wish you could feel my card - it has a great texture, thanks to the embossing paste. Now as far as looks - blah! However, the card makes me smile because it reminds me of my daughter who lives in Alaska. She loves her dogs.
