Gallery Gazers CASE #15
As a member of the Gallery Gazers blog group, once each month I find a card in the SCS Gallery to CASE. This month I chose a card by Liz (lazylizard). I loved how she didn't use much layering and it was simple yet stunning.
You can see Liz's card in the SCS Gallery HERE.
Obviously, it is not my intent to exactly recreate her card, but rather to be inspired by it and make one with similarities. I hope I succeeded.
Thanks for the inspiration, Liz!
Liz did some sponging around the edge of her card, but I wanted to leave mine stark white instead. There is some Stickles Glitter Glue on flower centers, but it doesn't show up in the photos. I also added some embellishments (Recollections Rhinestones) to my card while Liz's card looked embellishment-free.
My Hello is actually a die, not a stamped image. It's part of the same stamp set/die set that I used - Technique Tuesday's Crocus.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
Stamp/Die: Technique Tuesday Crocus stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Copic Markers
Papers: Recollections Black and 110# White CS and DP from my scrap file
Embellishments: Recollections Rhinestones and Stickles Glitter Glue
