I am in a card kit swap group (led by Barb). Each month one of the members receives card kits from each of the other members, for a total of 11 card kits. Then we have a couple of months in which to make cards with the kits we receive. This is not my first year, so if you're a regular visitor on my blog you're most likely familiar with this group.
I received kits in June so now it's time to create. I normally make one card per kit, but this year I'm hoping I can make two with each kit. My limitations are my own time, not the kits themselves because these ladies put together some fabulous kits.
Today's cards were made with Kelly's kit, which I absolutely loved. The images were some I'd not even seen before, so that was a treat! And the papers and embellishments were awesome.
As an aside from my card and Kelly's kit, I'd like to ask all of you who see this blog post to keep Kelly in your thoughts/prayers today - she lives in southern Florida where they've been preparing for Hurricane Dorian for days now.
Here's what was in Kelly's kit...
Image: Our Daily Bread Designs/You Bless Me stamped on Recollections 110# CS with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
DSP: Hello Beautiful by Heidi Swapp
Embellishments: Jolee's white gems, ribbons from her stash (bakers twine, Hobby Lobby), rhinestoned from Michael's, sequins from Drive By Crafts, buttons from SU and JoAnn's, brads from Making Memories
Thank you Kelly! I hope you (and the other ladies) like my cards.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
The only thing I used to make my cards other than what was in Kelly's kit was some CS (Recollections Black and White and SU Rose Red). The dies I used were My Favorite Things Stitched Mod Rectangle and Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics B.
Beautiful images and sentiments. You have done an exceptional job with your coloring. I do love that Rose Red and I wish it had not been discontinued. Wonderful layout on these cards. TFS!
ReplyDeleteJeanette, these cards are fabulous! Your coloring is gorgeous and I love the images. Beautiful designs. Great use of the kit. Kelly of course, is in my prayers.
