I am in a card kit swap group (led by Barb). Each month one of the members receives card kits from each of the other members, for a total of 11 card kits. Then we have a couple of months in which to make cards with the kits we receive. This is not my first year, so if you're a regular visitor on my blog you're most likely familiar with this group.
I received kits in June so now it's time to create. I normally make one card per kit, but this year I'm hoping I can make two with each kit. My limitations are my own time, not the kits themselves because these ladies put together some fabulous kits.
Today's cards were made with Carol's kit. She included so many lovely floral images, papers, ribbons and other embellishments.
Thank you Carol! I hope you (and the other ladies) like my cards.
Card #1
I loved this diecut piece, but truly wasn't sure how to use it. My card is way too simple, so obviously I need more practice.
Card #2
I went with a minimal layout/design because I really wanted to see a lot of that gorgeous designer paper on this card.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
The only thing of my own that I used in making these cards was some cardstock (Recollections Black for layering and SU Rose Red for the card bases).

Very pretty cards! I love how they focal images are offset.
Gorgeous cards Jeanette, but I love the slightly offset die cuts cuts - that is a really stunning card! It really does not need anything more
